Corona/John is the story / the coat about a self.
Yes, although story sounds a bit 'once upon a time'. :)
This is a kind of conditioned personified perception and we use the word 'self' to describe it because our experience of it is that it has some autonomy/agency.
The human being or "no self" is not the story or the persona - but it just thinks it is that.
I'd prefer we drop the term 'no self' because we want to explore what is here, rather than not-here, or what is rather than isn't, otherwise we'll be chasing ghosts like Scooby Doo. :)
I would go as far to say that the human being is not behind this identifying with an IDEA of who I am. It's more like a conditioned behaviour to see ourselves this way.
So, corona is perfect, because it is a false crown we've adopted as 'Me'.
A story of myself to which we identify without even knowing we have done so, in some cases.
So, we're not interested in whether there is or isn't a self.
What we're interested in is what we are calling 'self' and identifying as - namely, Corona or John. It almost like we are not playing a role, but the role is playing us.
Walk with this some, and share when you're ready.
Much love,
John
