LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
What I once believed to be a solid me with choices is but perceptions, thoughts and ideas. About 15 years ago I saw through this and settled into a peaceful state that saw everything simply happenings with a rare perception that there was a me doing this. I have lessened in this Feeling moved and light
What are you looking for at LU?
I’m looking for someone that does fetter work. I follow the awakening curriculum w/Pernille and listen to Angelo. I’d like to be guided to clarity on what I’m not seeing. I feel more Nyki than I had in years. As though I have zoomed in on a character that means something. LOL
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
Clarity to what I’m still holding on to. It feels as though I’m back to intellectual understanding instead of pure movement, allowing (not a correct word) because now it feels as I’m not allowing but before it just was.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I used to follow Regina Akers w/Awakening Together and went through her curriculum that taught inquiry, contemplation & meditation. I feel that it prepped me to the original shift.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 9

Re: Fetter Guide
Let’s run through these questions and see if there’s anywhere that needs further investigation.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?
2) Describe how the illusion of an independent, self came into being by giving examples from actual experience.
Then give some experiential examples of how life changed for you after seeing through this illusion.
3) How does it feel to see this?
What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) Can you remember any specific inquiry that resulted in an epiphany? ..a before and after seeing the actuality of the Self. Was there a point when you ‘got it’?
5) a) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work?
Give examples from your own recent experiences to how these things happen and how they work.
b) What are you responsible for? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how this works.
6) Anything to add?

No, there’s only thoughts about a perceived me.
No

I recall laying in the back of our station wagon. (Back before seat belts) looking at the sky through the roof. I remember quite clearly thinking life was like believing in Santa. You have to play along. That was maybe 1973. I don't recall thinking about it again until I was laying on the floor in 2009. I was done. I was surrendered from playing playing along.
3) How does it feel to see this?

It feels like playing a role is no longer dual. I’m fully enjoying lifing,
4) Can you remember any specific inquiry that resulted in an epiphany? ..a before and after seeing the actuality of the Self. Was there a point when you ‘got it’?
Once I was raging (probably the last time I felt intensely triggered) I had an internal, “who’s the one that needs this to be different.” I died laughing. There was no one. I couldn’t find anyone that needed anything to change.
5) a) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work?

I catch the back seat driver who claims credit for choices. It says I did this or that. However, there’s no one here deciding/controlling. Just last week I read about a course learning how to choose your 2025 intentions. That’s comical. Yes, actions are taken but the how to’s are now. Its a need to know basis.
b) What are you responsible for? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how this works.
I think that’s a funny question. I don’t lay on the couch claiming nobody’s here. I am moved as I was moved before. Just not with a story believed in or heaviness of thoughts claiming this is not what should be or not be.

Re: Fetter Guide
Hi Nyki, here is a query from another guide.
"3) How does it feel to see this?
What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
It feels like playing a role is no longer dual. I’m fully enjoying lifing"
Ask:
Say more about that. What does it mean "playing a role is no longer dual"? And what is "lifing"?

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Difficulty in getting on app from phone.
There is no separate character/me. There is just this. Life unfolding = Life-ing. I was seeing a person/character as separate. Now it's just all this. Whatever shows up is that. Lifing.
The idea/thoughts that there is a separate entity was seen through but it was dual. there's a This and then ideas/thoughts. Now it's all life unfolding. It seems ridiculously simple. As if I should add something. However, there's nothing to add.
