LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this? It's my reality 24/7. Already saw through the illusion of the 'self,' decades ago. "I" am already a published 'non-dual' author with a worldwide following - even though there 'no one' here that is writing or being followed :-)
What are you looking for at LU? Contributing as a gift. Not looking for anything in return.
This form is not letting me go forward when hitting 'Submit Registration,' which I assume is due to not having entered at least 200 characters, but based on my answer to the first question, it can be seen why I have nothing more to add.
What do you expect from a guided conversation? The sudden, radical shift in perspective where the illusion of 'self' just drops away. This is what I guide, and the result that often 'appears.' Once again, don't need guidance, looking to contribute, if you like. See above.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry? See above answer to first question.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?

Good morning!
Thank you, yes, we can always use more volunteer guides. Based on your post, the usual intro post may not be necessary, except to give you suggestions & a model of what is used here.
We have some traditional "final" questions. Those will help to see where you are. For #3 and #4, please write about whenever your shift of awareness took place. No need for lots of words, just enough to tell us about it.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Describe intention & give examples from experience.
Describe free will & give examples from experience.
Describe choice & give examples from experience.
Describe control & give examples from experience.
What makes things happen? How does it work?
What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
6) Anything to add?
What would you like to be called? Is Teja your name?
Welcome & thank you for offering to guide here.

Hi,
Did you see the reply?
This is my usual initial post. It has some useful information.
Hi,
My name is Stacy and I can be your guide, if you would like.
One thing I want to make very clear up front is that with me, you must post every day. If you know yourself and your schedule are such that you cannot do this, tell me, "no," and someone else can guide you, please.
Yes, if once in a while you must post later, please post a note telling me when you will return.
If you haven't already read the disclaimer, please read it now and just confirm to me that you have read it. Here is the link.
http://liberationunleashed.com/disclaimer-2/
Also please read “Liberation Unleashed is not …” in the FAQ’s of LU. Here is the link.
http://liberationunleashed.com/about/faq/#faq-1041
Some housekeeping guidelines:
1. Post at least once a day, or every second day. If you need more time, or are unable to post for several days, just write a quick post on your thread to let me know please.
2. There is no one judging answers given, so please be 100% honest in your answers and inquiry.
3. This exploration is based on actual experience (AE) - smell, taste, sound, sensation, color and observed thoughts. Long-winded analytical and philosophical answers are best avoided and may even hinder progress. This is not a self-improvement process. There is no ‘self’ to improve.
4. Put aside all other teachings, philosophies, rituals, practices, books/reading and so on for the remainder of this investigation. Really put all your effort and attention in to seeing this reality, as it is. If you have a daily meditation practice, it is fine to continue that but is not necessary for this exploration.
Technology is not perfect and sometimes there is a glitch which can wipe out your responses. It is advisable that you copy and paste questions asked into Word, answer them there and then copy and paste them to your thread. Always save a copy of what you have done, it will save time in the long run!
To begin with, so that we both become aware of what your expectations are about this exploration. In your own words (not from actual experience, but just honest answers), could you please answer the 4 following questions:
How will life change?
How will you change?
What will be different?
What is missing?
Throughout this exploration I would like you to answer all questions that I have written in blue text. Please answer all questions even if I miss using the blue text.
Please answer questions individually, remembering to use the quote function to highlight the question being answered.
Below is a link to the video with instructions on using the Quote Function. Please watch it. Use the PREVIEW button to make sure your text looks right before you hit "SUBMIT."

Yes, Stacy, just seeing this on Jan 30. Just emailed you, thanks for reaching out. Never received any other emails after posting my intro, so didn't know to check this thread.Hi Teja. You seem to have disappeared. Are you still wanting to continue here?
Thank you
I will now answer the traditional final questions you requested, see below:
Good morning!
Thank you, yes, we can always use more volunteer guides. Based on your post, the usual intro post may not be necessary, except to give you suggestions & a model of what is used here.
We have some traditional "final" questions. Those will help to see where you are. For #3 and #4, please write about whenever your shift of awareness took place. No need for lots of words, just enough to tell us about it.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
No. Never
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
A construct put together starting in early childhood, to interact with or try to impress all the other 'separate selfs' people are convinced they are. But only a thought of 'self,' of an "I"...not an actual "I-self." Just Life happening...to no one.
A 'sense' of self seemed necessary in childhood/early adulthood, and even now, a 'sense' of self is useful for navigation apparent interactions. but there is no 'self,' and after several glimpses of this and intellectual perception of it, the 'separate self' perception dissolved completely, over a decade ago, leaving just life happening to no one.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
Always interesting to put into 'words' how this feels, but: Freedom...no-self...absolutely no resistance to life flowing, so
just being, without any trying to be. Every moment is amazing in itself, and yet extraordinarily ordinary. Ease.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
My initial glimpse was at 5. Complete unexpected Satori, but I knew, without question, there was only What Is, no self. I knew this world was real & unreal simultaneously, like I could put my hand right through it. Many decades, paths and teachers seeking to 'get back' to that...until I looked, really looked, and saw that the one thing I didn't realize was also not-real, was the 'self,' the "me," having the glimpses, supposedly having this experience. That was it. The dissolution happened quickly after that. The last push seems to be when I was on solo retreat in the woods, and I happened to read this line from Ramana Maharshi:
“The Self is always the Self and there is no such thing as realizing it, ‘attaining it.’ Who (what illusory 'little self') is to realize what, and how, when all that exists is the Self?(What Is, Being, Life)”
That ended it, completely. Right over the edge. Yet, very simple, and with complete clarity that "I," what I studied or practiced, didn't have anything to do with that apparent dissolution. Even that could only be part of the illusion of a 'self.' Nothing happened, to 'no one.' Just Life, awakening to itself. For no reason.
5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Decisions seem to happen. "I" seem to be deciding to answer these questions; "I" seem to be deciding what words to use and how to phrase it. But only in a 'sense.' There is no one here making those decisions.
Describe intention & give examples from experience.
As above, even more so. I recognize, and have very little need for, personal 'intention' anymore. I have no intention what will happen every day. I have interim intentions like helping others, or taking this or that journey. Then I laugh, thinking that's "my" intention.
Describe free will & give examples from experience. Describe choice & give examples from experience.
I cannot conceive of free will anymore, and I think my answers to decision & intention, above, cover my examples of the feeling of non-choice.
Describe control & give examples from experience.
Like 'free will,' cannot conceive of anything called 'control.' I do what needs to be done, and seem to continue making choices that avoid 'personal' pain and prolong this organism's life, but I have no delusion of any control there.
What makes things happen? How does it work?
Haha! Nothing makes things happen, nor does there need to be a reason. Over here, the mystery of life is that nobody, no 'self,' knows how things happen, come into apparent being. Life just happens. No causality, no purpose, and no need for one...except by an illusory 'self' that would like some more 'control':-)
What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
At the absolute level, there is no "me," so 'being responsible' becomes a 'self-that-has-some-control' erroneous concept.
At the 'world' level, I am not responsible for any other illusory 'self,' and yet, very ordinarily, I feel greater compassion and willingness to help/guide 'others' than i did when I thought I was a 'responsible self' that 'should' do this or that.
6) Anything to add?
interesting set of questions :-) Very useful for clarifying where one is truly at. I guide similarly, yet with a slightly different set of questions. But these were similarly uncompromising and revealing, thank you.
What would you like to be called? Is Teja your name?
Yes, Teja is my name
Welcome & thank you for offering to guide here.

Re: Another member recommended 'me' as a guide that could contribute here.
Good morning, Teja.
Well, of course, you've been confirmed. Your forum name us blue. They will turn it red to indicate you're guiding.
You should have a PM top right at the little envelope on this page.
Tiny forum detail: you used the Quote function, but you quoted both the questions & your replies. Since other guides look to confirm these, please instruct your clients to use the Quote function only on the quoted questions, not their replies. You can see this on other threads.
Normally, a new guide asks for another guide to be their mentor for their first client or more. The new guide emails what they want to post to their mentor before posting.
You'll receive some documents with example pointers used here. They are optional.
I am sure you have your own ways of guiding that are working.
This is a new one. Maybe you could go through with a mentor once as a formality. I'll ask the admins to invite you to the LU Guide Central group on Facebook, where we confirm clients & that can be discussed.
We have about 14 clients waiting at the Gate, so read through those to see which one you might like to begin with. When I can, I take those who have been waiting the longest.
There's a monthly guide meeting that you will be invited to. Nice way to meet other guides.
Welcome! And thank you!
