Hi Kyleen,

Don't worry. We are not done, yet. The final questions are a way of seeing where we are now, as much as anything final.

You've listed some fears.

And you never completed the Drink Exercise, as far as I can tell.
Yes I did report seeing but I don’t feel like it’s all the way complete.
You're right. It can take years to fully find & let go of the piles of false beliefs, issues, childhood issues, It won't happen all at once. You'll go in & out of it for a long time. We have plenty more we can look at here.

Relax.

Stress is a product of false thoughts we believe. The Work of Byron Katie is an excellent way to question false thinking.
Fear of losing more motivation and feeling that life is meaningless
Fear of not being able to connect with others the same way
Fear of loosing my personality
Fear of the unknown, what will happen after
These are all very normal fears. I suggest you LOOK squarely at each one, using Ilona's video or The Work. If you need facilitation, we can discuss ways to do that. Sometimes fear seems big and its very nature means we may need a hand hold to get past it.

Let me know how you'd like to look at the fears and then we can pick up where we left off with the Drink Exercise. It will help you to look at decisions, choices, free will and intentions.

I had some trouble with the site. If you do, just wait a while and try again.

Much love,
~ Stacy

The site seems to be working normally again. I'll watch for your replies to the above.

Hi,
Fear of losing more motivation and feeling that life is meaningless
Fear of not being able to connect with others the same way
Fear of loosing my personality
Fear of the unknown, what will happen after
We could. But let's try the LU Deep Looking way, ok? Review Ilona's video if you like.

https://youtu.be/jKX1llYtlKE

Look at one of these fears. Tell me what (if anything) is found in Actual Experience?

If you find it easy, you can do more than one.

So I used the video and didn’t really get much from it. I felt the fear and nothing was behind it. But it is still overpowering most of the time which then in turn causes a lot of thoughts and before you know it I’m swept away in all of it. Am I missing something?

Maybe. The hope here is that when it is clear there is nothing behind it, your mind will let go of believing in nothing.

Okay, so maybe that's not your best method.

Let's use The Work.

Pick one of the fears, state it as if it would happen:

I'll lose my motivation (if I see there is no self).

Life will be meaningless (if I see there is no self).

I won't be able to connect with others the same way (if I see there is no self).

I will lose my personality (if I see there is no self).

Something unknown & scary will happen (if I see there is no self).

1. Is it true? Yes or no?

Answer the first 2 Work questions on the one you choose.

2. Can you absolutely know it is true?

Hey Kyleen,

It would be nice to be very clear & complete before we stop. Then I could ask whether other guides have any further questions.

Once everything is clear & complete, we change the color & the image on your thread & invite you to join others in Aftercare & discussion groups, if you are interested. Not required, of course, but I like the company of others who have seen.

I last heard from you 7 days ago.

Maybe you're just busy? Or if you're stopping, please let me know. I only guide 2 clients at a time, and it's good to be thorough.

Loving,
~ Stacy

Hi Kyleen,

Please keep me posted when it's going to be 7 days. rather than 2. ok?

First, please read this whole thread from beginning to end.

Then tell me: Where are you with the fears?

Do you need to delve into that? Or attempt final questions?

Read the final questions posted above on July 1st, without answering them - just tell me if you feel you need more LOOKING on any piece of those before answering them, please.

So the fears have greatly diminished, for now. I took the past week to let things marinate and as that was happening I believe my understanding had deepened which resulted in the fears decreasing. The main one that is still there is fear of the unknown. I’m being able to trust in letting go when “negative” feelings arise or the mind is spinning instead of what I usually do which is resist or get involved and narrow my attention to just that and try to manipulate it in some way to make it go away. Trusting that if I just let them run there course they will not overtake my life lol. Which I know is completely illogical now but in the moment it feels very real.

You told me to not answer the questions but it is difficult to explain if I need more looking without describing what I’ve found and I’m not sure if you want me to do that so please lmk.
