Re: looking for the i 1

Dear james, how is it going? Is it clear that I as an entity is an illusion? Or is there doubt?
What has changed in normal everyday situations? What hasn’t?

Are there more burning questions?

Love.

There seems to be an understanding that there is no I but I have to remind myself . Knowing that thoughts and feelings
will arise and are life and not anything to worry about is also having to be remembered.

At least I can catch myself to see what is happening and it is an improvement in normal everyday life.

No burning issues and I'm still trying to relax into being and allowing all to happen without too much resistance.

Thanks for your guidance.

There seems to be an understanding that there is no I but I have to remind myself . Knowing that thoughts and feelings
will arise and are life and not anything to worry about is also having to be remembered.
Could you elaborate on this. How does this remembering happen? What is being remembered?

See, seeing is fresh in the moment. It’s not some past event that needs to be remembered. It’s always here and now —what is here? What is obvious? This has nothing to do with me work of a past. Every moment is a fresh invitation to look at what is.
Yes, we get drawn into a story, yes we notice what is here, what is present. Does any of that require a separate self as a doer? As a rememberer?

How do you see that?

Love.

The thought that I am not a separate entity comes into my mind or is brought along by the stream of thoughts . When

I feel some resistance then the thought I am not a separate entity comes along and the resistance eases. I am imagining

that when I can naturally be in the fresh moment I won't have thoughts about whether I am separate or not . That I will

be in the fresh moment and not have the thoughts about the past , worry about the future and so on.

Just now I felt a moment of clarity as I was reading this that the whole of my thoughts are the fresh moment and

when I can let it flow then there won't be resistance to anything.

Thanks again for your guidance.

Thank you. And is resistance allowed to flow freely?
Is there I to let it flow freely or stop the flow?
Is there anything outside of flow, as in not included in the flow?

Love.

So then everything is happening in the moment and whatever it is is just the flow happening. There is no I that can do

anything to the flow whether I perceive it as good or bad. Even perceiving good or bad is also the flow. Reminding

myself to remember these things are also the flow. The whole thing is just happening .

Thanks again for your guidance.

Can you say with a big fat YES, it is clear, that a separate self is an illusion? If not, what else do you want to look at? How does it feel to answer?

Love.

At the moment I feel that I need to let it sink in . My life seems to be moving quickly and I can see that I am not in control. I have to make decisions that are unusual for me. I work in a hospital so you know what it's about.

Thank you for your help.
