LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
I understand that the self is only imagination
What are you looking for at LU?
I'm looking for some feedback to really confirm the experience that the gate is already crossed. To much ease and joy where there was allways fear and sadness. The mind is still noisy as allways but its just happening on its own
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
Some confirmation of the solidity of the experience i've felt the peace of reality where everything its ok, everything is beautiful, but somehow the mind keep telling that this might be another one of my search and there is fear that it wont stick...
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
Meditation and reiki the usual searching i guess
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 11
Confirmation of crashing the gate
Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
Hi there and welcome!
You told me in advance, that you are familiar with direct pointing to no self through own exploration.
I suppose you know the difference between "thinking about" and "looking at" things.
While looking at actual experience, while not minding thought content and looking at what is here now:
Is there truly a "I", "self", "someone" to cross a gate?
Was there ever?
Is there truly a "gate" of some sort?
Was there ever?
With kind regards
Matthew

Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
That is amazing :-)
Does this need any confirmation?

Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
Hi Matthew, sorry i didnt answer before, but i worked in the nightshift and been sleeping till now! Yes its very beautiful but the mind keeps dooing is thing, like trying to tell this can't be it!
Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
And is that true?trying to tell this can't be it
What is "IT"?
Does "IT" exist?
Is there an "IT" of any sort to achieve?

Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
Yes your right there's nothing to achieve, but the imaginary I wants to be heard and it's saying all kinds of crap eh eh
Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
How is "I" experienced.
Is it more than a thought?
Is it more than a thought?

Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
It's just a tought
Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
It's just a toughtHow is "I" experienced.
Can a thought do anything?
Is that true?I wants to be heard and it's saying all kinds of crap eh eh
Does the thought "I" really want to be heard?
Does it say something?
Does the thought "I" think other thoughts?
First there is a mountain,

Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
The tought happens on it's own. The thing is that ''i'' am experiencing some notable changes in the way i perceive reality. Some days it seams that there is only unity and only a sense of aliveness exists, like everything is sacred and all living beens are my relatives...but there are times when doubt arises maybi'm clinging to that blissful state...
Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
Does this feel like a fabricated state, or a natural state? Some days it seams that there is only unity and only a sense of aliveness exists, like everything is sacred and all living beens are my relatives...
Does this have to be believed to be true?
Can doubt TRULY cloud this? Or is doubt just a harmless appearance WITHIN this.but there are times when doubt
Is this unity, this aliveness absent when doubt arises?
Is this unity and aliveness ever truly absent?
What clings?maybi'm clinging to that blissful state...

Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
Hi Matthew! Good questions! I guess what clings is just a thought too! It's like there are no problems at all and the mind is trying to create them! Maybe the fiction "i"is trying to not be forgotten! I dont know it's confusing
Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
It is confusing as long as there is an urge to grasp it intellectually.
Just relax.
Instead of understanding, look at what is here now. Just stop and look:
Can a thought desire something?
Or would that not just be another thought story.
If thought does not cling, what then?
What can be found here now.
Something or nothing?
Someone or no one?
Just relax.

Re: Confirmation of crashing the gate
Yes when looking here and now nothing is found, apart from toughts and sensations, behind that there is nothing!
