Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien,

I've been thinking about this for the past few days. It's best that I take a break for a while.

Thanks for all your help so far, it's appreciated.

I will be back to pick up later. Hope that's ok.

Thanks.

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, Do you feel that it’s not the best time for this investigation? This investigation seems right with a certainty about it and I don't appear to have any choice in it continuing anyway. Or that this investigation making the anxiety/depression worse? It seems that it's making everything f...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, And what is it exactly that is believing or indulging in the idea of the self? Where is the believer? I really cannot find a me-thing to which this relates. There's a horrible depression/anxiety which seems to be kicking hard. I'm feeling monumentally tired, unable to sleep properly an...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, Are these emotions are related to looking? If yes, could you please tell more? The tiredness certainly seems to be. There is an incessant searching and validation going on looking at what is real and unreal, particularly when it comes to more unpleasant emotions. This has been exhausti...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, Apologies for not responding sooner. If I'm honest, there is a lot popping up at the moment; tiredness (a lot of that), boredom, sadness, frustration etc. When I look for an owner of any of them, there's nothing. And WHAT is FEELING these sensations? There is nothing. I can't find anyt...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, Is the visual thought is the self/me itself who sees? No, the thought doesn't see and there is no actual real me entity in that visual thought. If not, where is the SEER/me? The idea/appearance of a SEER/me is contained in thought which itself is just appearing, But there's no entity/t...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, So are you saying that the ‘me’ appears to be in the eyes? Or behind the eyes? At the time of writing, I was stating in the eyes. But that's not quite an accurate way of expressing it either. The eyes appearing in the visual thought content are just hanging there but not even giving th...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, The remaining answers are as follows: And whose desire is that everything should be ok as it is? The desire is part of a story which has no grounding in actual experience. The desire is irrelevant; there's nothing here that the desire can relate to or could gain anything. Desire is not...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, Where is the experiencer of the story? Inside the chest? Definitely not in there. Or in the head? Where? In the eyes? Or behind the eyes? Or maybe at the center of the head? Or maybe closer to the scull at the back of the head? Find the exact spot. I've looked very closely. There's a s...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien Is there a ‘you’ moving between two different states? Between seeing and believing? No, there's no 'me' at all. Is there a desire or expectation to constantly see no-doer 24/7? Yes, there is. What feels true is that this shouldn't be the case. If you expect to see this all the time, you...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, I'm still finding it quite hard to explain the current position exactly. Sorry but for your above comment it’s not clear for me why the illusionary gate persists. Could you please tell more? There's no me here but there's still uncertainty. This uncertainty is diminishing each day as o...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, Tell me what's left of OnlyOne. When checking reality, does OnlyOne still exist? OnlyOne is an idea, a mental suggestion which isn't there in reality (actual experience). And if so, can you tell me, what's left of it or how and when it appears? There is some residue which is due to a s...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hello Vivien, Is there anything that experience appear IN or TO? There's nothing experience appears to. There's nothing that experience appears in - there's just experience. Are there two things there? ‘here’ + experience? Looking at this more closely, 'here' doesn't exist in direct experience. I ca...

Re: Separating fact from fiction

Hi Vivien,

The limitations of language are apparent with the word 'into' - that suggests some sort of container with defined boundaries - there are no boundaries in actual experience. There are just appearances.
